Vernon UMC has a Food Pantry and Clothing Thrift Shop. Both are open Mon, Wed, Fri. 9:30am – 12:30pm. Donations are accepted during the same hours.
Our Pastor
Pastor Megan Mead-Bracknell
Megan Mead-Bracknell has been active in the UMC since birth. Both her parents and her Grandmother worked at the church, so it has always been a part of her life. She loves serving the Lord through youth ministries, outreach, leading Bible studies and small groups. She’s held many leadership positions in the UMC and throughout the community.
Pastor Megan spent over 20 years an an Early Childhood Educator. She truly believes that the children are the future of the church. Children and youth should be encouraged to participate in all aspects of ministry and worship.
Megan loves serving God with her husband, Clyde and their daughter, Mallory.

Children’s Ministry
Sunday School every Sunday during
the worship service. PreSchool and Elementary to middle school ages.
Youth Ministry
Youth Group meets every Sunday after the service from 11:30-1:00
Grades 5-12
Worship
We have a family contemporary service. Everyone is welcome to join us each Sunday at 10:00am
Coffee hour to follow service.
Music Ministry
Our Music Ministry has an Adult Choir and a Youth Choir also, special musical performances. See Sue if you are interested in becoming a part of this wonderful ministry.
Youth & Children’s Choir
Do you like to sing, Come join the fun. Singing and performing at Easter and Christmas. Also, singing during some of the services.
Bible Studies
Bible Studies offered multiple times during the week. Contact the office for more info.
